Describe a concept at the right development stage

A polished rendering, a physical prototype and a product ready for production supply can easily appear together in presentation materials. In my work records, exhibition preparation often runs alongside design and engineering discussions that are still open.

I want an introduction to invite further discussion and leave the visitor with an accurate understanding of what is available now.

I ask its owner whether it is a design direction, a review prototype, an option with specified validation completed or a product with current delivery conditions established.

“Validated” also needs a scope. It does not mean every requirement has been checked. Similar-looking configurations may have different conditions.

Prepare the next action with the introduction

Section titled “Prepare the next action with the introduction”

A concept invites discussion of use and direction. A prototype supports appearance and experience review. A validated option allows discussion of its applicable scope. An available product can move into specification and commercial assessment.

The next action should therefore not always be “send a quotation”. New development first needs requirements; an existing product needs its revision and quantity conditions confirmed.

Check permission for public material separately

Section titled “Check permission for public material separately”

Partner names, drawings, photographs and customer context need an agreed scope for use. A cooperation discussion does not make every project public or establish engineering approval for an exhibit.

    A possible introduction is:

This sample shows the current design direction. If the use case interests you, we can clarify requirements and then assess materials, structure and validation. Its display stage and future supply scope need separate confirmation.

A useful exhibition lead begins with a shared understanding of the next step.
